Year-round sunshine, clear
waters and wonderful corals make the Red Sea in Egypt an ideal place
to learn to dive. In the Red Sea, beginner diving courses such as
the PADI Open Water Course and Scuba Diver Course are
offered by basically all diving schools. The PADI diving courses are
particularly suited for resort holidays, and are recognised world-wide.
A PADI Open Water Course, for example, typically takes four to five
days to complete. Just imagine, after the theory and pool sessions,
you will be able to be trained as a diver in one of the most outstanding
underwater habitats in the world.
Entry level courses are
designed to help you learn to dive safely, with a buddy, to a maximum
depth of 18 meters (60 feet). Each course consists of diving theory
sessions, training dives in a pool or confined body of water,
and practice dives in the open sea under the direct supervision
of a qualified instructor.
If you want to get a taste
of diving before committing yourself to a full course, why not try out
an introductory dive or resort course in calm shallow water
first? Virtually anyone can dive if you are in good health,
reasonably fit, and a relatively good swimmer. Enjoy!
